Abstract

The APD database is a set of locations where Applications for Permits to Drill have been released by BOEM. It is the next step to drill a well after a planned well site has been approved. This is the step where API numbers are assigned. APDs are mapped at the surface location.

Purpose

Analysis for oil and gas exploration and production in the Gulf of Mexico.
