Abstract

The Fields shapefile contains polygons for all the fields designated by the BOEM in Federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Field outlines are created from the union of the sand-body reservoirs of each field.

Purpose

Analysis for oil and gas exploration and production in the Gulf of Mexico.
