Abstract
The Indicated Hydrocarbon List, or IHL, comes from BOEM's Office of Resource Evaluation. The IHL identifies unleased Central and Western Planning Area Gulf tracts that have wellbores with indicated hydrocarbons. The IHL is made available to the public approximately three months prior to each Gulf sale for the purpose of highlighting locations that may be of interest to potential bidders. IHL data includes wells with shows, which are then used to update the wells database.
