Description

Abstract

Pipeline information includes information specific to each segment number, such as origination and destination locations, approval, authority, size and product codes as well as approval, test, and construction dates. In GOM3, pipelines are mapped in both 2D and 3D (along the seafloor). Pipeline histories and as-built maps are available in GOMsmart. The Tie-back Routing tool allows prospective routes to be calculated using seafloor bathymetry and hazards to map an optimal route. The tool also gives additional information about target platforms such as decline curve analysis, operator and well information. Crossing pipelines are also reported.

Analysis for oil and gas exploration and production in the Gulf of Mexico.
