Abstract
The Possible Prospects dataset is generated by ESA based on leasing, new wells/permits, and planned sites information. The dataset contain the blocks where possible prospects are determined to exist based on new plans or permits where no other field, discovery or prospect exists. In short, it is a way of highlighting the newest plans on a block.
Purpose
Analysis for oil and gas production and exploration in the Gulf of Mexico.
