Abstract
Sands are the stratigraphic subdivisions of pools within a field. A sand includes all oil and gas accumulations within a single "mappable sand unit." These accumulations are not necessarily in hydrodynamic communication and may be separated across fault blocks. The sand represents the most disaggregated geologic and reserve data in the system.
